Í sjávarþorpinu Stokkseyri er gistiheimilið Kvöldstjarnan. Á gistiheimilinu er heimilisleg gisting í uppbúnum rúmum. Öll aðstaða er eins og best verður á kosið. Á efri hæð er íbúð með stórum svölum og góðu útsýni yfir þorpið og til fjalla. Í íbúðinni geta gist allt að 6 manns í frábærri aðstöðu með eldhúsi, borðstofu, setustofu og baði. Á neðri hæð eru tveggja manna herbergi með aðgangi að baðherbergi, salerni, eldhúsi, setustofu og stórri verönd. Internet aðgangur fylgir gistingunni. Stutt er í allar fallegustu náttúruperlur suðurlands, og í göngufæri eru sundlaug, söfn og veitingastaðir. Í nokkurra kílómetra fjarlægð er svo fuglafriðlandið í Flóa.

So why not stay awhile at the Star on the shore? | Stokkseyri is a little town on southcoast of iceland and lies on a 8000 year old lava that extends between the Iceland greatest rivers, Ölfusá in the west (the largest, 423 m³/s) and Thjórsá in the east (the longest, 230km) were they flow in to the Atlantic Ocean. The sea waves have molded the lava in to a shore renown for it's beauty. Stokkseyri is not far from Iceland's most visited tourist attractions. Stokkseyri has a lot to offer in recreation; museum‘s, family garden, restaurant, kayak sailing, swimming pool etc. and is becoming evermore attracting every year. Stokkseyri is about 40 minutes drive from Reykjavik city. |
